The 13th Annual International Real Estate Investment Conference & Dinner, organized by the Association of Real Estate Agents Uganda (AREA-Uganda), is scheduled for December 5th and 6th, 2024, at the Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala. The theme for this year’s conference is “Exploring Real Estate Partnerships.” The conference will provide a platform for real estate professionals and investors to connect, fostering networking opportunities that could potentially lead to business exchange.
The two-day event will include discussions, feature presentations, business pitches, an award dinner and a keynote address by a top industry leader. AREA-Uganda registrations are now open for all real estate and PropTech experts, manufacturers, investors, developers, and colleagues who want to join Uganda’s high-growth real estate sector.

Uganda’s real estate market is expected to reach a value of $365.60 billion by 2024, out of which $329.20 billion is contributed by the residential sector alone. The residential segment is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.07%, anticipating an increasing demand for housing in this fast-urbanizing populous country. Immense opportunities are waiting to be unlocked in Uganda’s housing, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. There is a critical need for strategic partnerships, innovative solutions, and long-term investments in sustainable technologies to fully harness these. The Annual International Real Estate Investment Conference aims to capitalize on these opportunities by presenting a platform to real estate developers, investors, and technology innovators to engage with cutting-edge PropTech solutions and explore business partnerships in Uganda.Â
On Day 1 of the 13th Annual International Real Estate Investment Conference, participants will attend discussions and feature presentations by selected panelists and a keynote address from an experienced and well-researched industry player.
Day 2 will be reserved for a business pitching session followed by an awards dinner to recognize professionals who have made significant contributions to the Ugandan real estate sector.
The event will serve as a B2B (business-to-business) forum for real estate developers, financial institutions, investors, and technology companies to meet, connect and network with like-minded professionals and explore avenues for collaborations and partnerships. The event will explore the role of PropTech, AI, and big data in transforming the real estate landscape for smarter and more efficient practices.
The awards ceremony will honor remarkable innovations across diverse categories like best developers, agents, co-working spaces, investment products, building material products, property management, social recognition, innovation and Real Estate Rookie of the Year, etc.
