Stockholm-based AI-BOB, a construction technology company specializing in AI-driven blueprint compliance, has raised €2 million to support global expansion. The funding round was led by Amsterdam-based venture capital firm CapitalT and Fund F by Female Founders.
Founded in 2024 by Elin Mårtensson, Petter Wallberg, Rickard Svedenmark, and Olle Eriksson, AI-BOB develops artificial intelligence solutions to ensure compliance with building regulations. The platform assists architects and property developers by automating compliance reviews and offering real-time feedback on accessibility standards.
The software integrates with Revit, allowing professionals to streamline workflows without requiring additional systems or logins. AI-BOB also provides expert AI-powered assistance during video consultations, enhancing regulatory oversight and efficiency in construction planning.
The funding round was led by CapitalT, which focuses on software startups across Europe, including Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany. Fund F by Female Founders also participated in the round, along with NCA, a German VC firm specializing in the construction sector, and several angel investors.
“AI-BOB quickly identified a key market challenge and delivered an effective solution. With a strong team and clear vision, the company has the potential to reshape the industry,” said Janneke Niessen, founding partner at CapitalT.
The investment will be used to enhance AI-BOB’s product offerings, scale its operations, and drive global expansion, focusing on further improving its AI-powered compliance solutions for architects and developers.
