Alosant, a platform specializing in customer experience for master-planned communities, has announced its Series A funding round. While the amount remains undisclosed, the funding was led by Greg Avis, Co-founder and former Managing Director of Summit Partners. This new investment, alongside key leadership appointments, supports Alosant’s mission to improve community engagement through mobile technology.
Greg Avis, Managing Partner at Bangtail Partners, commented on the investment, noting, “Alosant has established itself as a leader in digital customer experiences for master-planned communities. Its growth, achieved without prior investor funding, demonstrates a strong foundation for further expansion.”
Since the launch of its resident-focused application, Alosant ResX, in 2017, the platform has expanded to accommodate over 300,000 active users. The application now offers features that cater to prospects, guests, and commercial clients, in addition to its core residential services. Alosant collaborates with many leading master-planned communities, including those listed on the John Burns Research & Consulting Top 50 list, such as Wellen Park in Venice, Florida, and Sunterra in Katy, Texas.
Recent additions to Alosant’s client portfolio include Bridgeland in Houston and On Top of the World in Ocala, Florida. New developments, like Everbe by Pulte Homes in Florida and Jubilee and Emberly in Texas, have also adopted Alosant’s platform early in their development phases to foster community engagement among prospective buyers.
April LaMon, Co-founder of Alosant, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing the homeownership journey, stating, “We aim to support consumers from the moment they choose their community, through the home-buying process, and beyond. With strong momentum and backing from Greg Avis and Bangtail Partners, we are well-positioned to continue leading in mobile innovation for the real estate sector.”
To support its growth strategy, Alosant has made several key leadership appointments. Kellie Corbin has joined as Vice President of Sales, bringing experience from her roles at NFC Amenities and WTS International. Corbin will focus on expanding Alosant’s market reach and driving new business.
Danette Beal, now Vice President of Marketing, brings a background in both enterprise and startup environments, including her role at Digs, an AI-driven home-building startup. Beal will manage Alosant’s marketing strategy, brand development, and digital outreach efforts.
Tara Trevino has been appointed Director of Customer Operations. With a background in strategic innovation from her time at Roomored, a visualization platform for home buying, Trevino will oversee customer experience and operations expansion.
These leadership appointments, combined with the recent funding round, aim to accelerate Alosant’s progress in the field of AI-driven mobile experiences in real estate.
