Azizi Developments, a private developer based in the UAE, has entered into an agreement with International Foundation Group (IFG) to facilitate the construction of the Burj Azizi skyscraper.
Under this partnership, IFG will handle the foundational aspects of the project, including piling, shoring, dewatering, and excavation. The Burj Azizi is anticipated to become the world’s second-tallest building upon completion.
Situated on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, the Burj Azizi is expected to be completed by 2028, transforming Dubai’s skyline and attracting both residents and tourists.
The skyscraper will feature a vertical shopping center, a seven-star hotel, an observation deck, and various luxury residences. With a $1.5 billion investment, the project aims to provide luxurious amenities for its occupants.
The exact height of Burj Azizi is still pending approval from relevant authorities. Construction has already begun, and the building will be a neighbor to Dubai’s World Trade Centre.
Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments, stated: “Our partnership with International Foundation Group for the essential piling, shoring, excavation, and dewatering operations for Burj Azizi excites us. This collaboration underscores our commitment to excellence and innovation in delivering iconic projects that elevate standards in the UAE and the global construction and real estate landscape.”
