This project, a collaboration between Related Argent and Barnet Council, is the first in Europe to achieve both certifications.
The WiredScore and SmartScore ratings assess various factors, including high-speed internet connectivity, technological resilience, data privacy, cybersecurity, and the quality of the technology experience for residents and visitors. Project Overview
Brent Cross Town is a 15-year regeneration project that will include 6,700 new homes, workspace for 25,000 people, a new high street, leisure spaces, and over 50 acres of parks and playing fields. Buildings are designed to meet WiredScore and SmartScore certification standards.
Current Progress
Seven buildings are under construction, with the first residents moving in later this year. The first office building, 3 Copper Square, is scheduled for completion in 2026. Over 930 homes and 662 student rooms are being developed, alongside the first permanent public park, Claremont Park, which opened in June 2022. Brent Cross West mainline station, opened in December 2023, offers connections to St Pancras International in 12 minutes. Sheffield Hallam University will also open its first campus outside Sheffield at Brent Cross Town.
