LaunchBase, a proptech start-up based in Cape Town, has introduced a software solution that enables real-time, online launches of off-plan property developments.
Co-founded by Brad Morgan and Dean Lederle, LaunchBase has disrupted the competitive property market by helping developers achieve rapid pre-sales on off-plan projects.
Lederle, who has a background in digital marketing, and Morgan, with experience in property development, have combined their expertise to give LaunchBase a technological edge. “Our extensive experience in off-plan property development marketing allows us to create unique brand campaigns and leverage targeted digital marketing to drive users to our platform,” Lederle stated.
Morgan emphasized the platform’s user-friendly design: “Our platform offers a seamless online experience, enabling users to explore and engage with properties at their convenience. It also facilitates transparent communication between buyers and developers and supports secure reservation deposits.”
LaunchBase recently facilitated the online launch of Dolce Vita, a project by the Berman Brothers Group in Sea Point. The development sold all 55 units, valued at approximately R250-million, within 15 minutes. This project included studio suites starting at R3-million and three-bedroom units priced at R9-million.
Morgan highlighted the collaborative effort with Berman Brothers and Robert Silke & Partners Architects: “Their market-driven product made our task easier, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable process and remarkable sales success.”
Lederle noted that LaunchBase selectively partners with developments they believe in: “This ensures our full commitment and enthusiasm, leading to successful outcomes.”
In addition to Dolce Vita, other successful launches include The Braemar, Venice House, The Beach House, The Valour, The Carrington, and The Sage. A notable achievement was The One in Stellenbosch, a student development that secured over 500 units at launch, reaching nearly R1-billion in sales.
LaunchBase’s unique approach and robust marketing strategy have set it apart in a competitive market. The company is set to expand internationally, partnering with offshore clients to extend its expertise in off-plan property developments.
Morgan concluded, “We are excited to bring our innovative technology and focused marketing strategies to a broader audience, transforming the off-plan residential development marketing industry.”
