Danish vacation home management company DanCenter has announced a €120,000 investment in Faroese operator Vert, formerly known as Ognartænastan, to support its expansion endeavors. Vert, founded in 2018 by Tróndur Kollsker, operates in the Faroe Islands, strategically positioned in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Over the next year, Vert aims to double its footprint by adding 200 holiday homes to its portfolio, contributing to the tourism sector’s growth in the Faroe Islands. This investment aligns with DanCenter’s parent company, OYO Vacation Homes’, commitment to sustainable growth and innovation within the tourism industry.
The collaboration between DanCenter and Vert not only strengthens tourism infrastructure but also positions the Faroe Islands as a premier destination for travelers seeking unique experiences. With tourism playing a pivotal role in the Faroe Islands’ economy, this partnership signifies a significant milestone for the region’s tourism economy.
India’s Honourable Ambassador to Denmark, Pooja Kapur, commended the collaboration, emphasizing its role in fostering deeper economic integration and cooperation between Denmark and India.
