Enerdrape, a Switzerland based provider of prefabricated geothermal panel technology, recently secured CHF 1.3M in Seed funding. The funding round witnessed participation from Après-demain through the GeneRActions Planet initiative and Romande Energie.
The company’s primary objectives with this infusion of capital include scaling operations, refining product offerings, and bolstering its team.
Founded by Margaux Peltier, Dr. Alessandro Rotta Loria, and Prof. Lyesse Laloui, Enerdrape has pioneered prefabricated geothermal panel technology. These panels, installed without drilling, transform underground structures such as parking facilities or tunnels into renewable thermal energy sources for building heating and cooling, contributing to substantial CO2 savings. Enerdrape’s panels are modular, thin, flexible, crafted from recyclable materials, and compatible with all heat pumps. They present an effective retrofit solution for existing buildings and offer a decarbonization opportunity for new constructions.
