Homemove, a UK-based proptech startup offering an integrated platform for managing home moves, has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Fuel Ventures. Additional backing came from the Blandford Family Office and Oxford Innovation.
The platform aims to address inefficiencies in the home-moving journey by bringing together various services—such as estate agency coordination, mortgage support, surveys, conveyancing, and removals—into a single interface.
Founded by James Freestone and Louis O’Connell Bristow, Homemove positions itself as a solution to the fragmented home-moving industry. It enables users to oversee their entire move from one platform. The service provides real-time updates, reduces administrative delays, and simplifies communication with various service providers.
By consolidating the multiple stages of a move, Homemove hopes to improve transparency and reduce the stress typically associated with the process.
Since its launch, Homemove has grown its revenue to $4 million, demonstrating user interest and market fit. The latest round of funding will support the expansion of its platform and national brand presence. The company plans to focus on refining services across its five verticals and introduce new features to make home-moving more efficient.
James Freestone, co-founder and CEO of Homemove, said the new funding would allow the company to enhance the user experience and support broader adoption.
Mark Pearson, Managing Partner at Fuel Ventures, noted that Homemove’s progress reflects the kind of business his firm seeks to back—those solving practical problems with scalable technology.
The funding positions Homemove for further development heading into the upcoming year, as it continues to build out its offering in a competitive real estate technology landscape.
