Inkers Technology, a Bengaluru-based proptech startup, has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round led by Ashish Kasholia of Lucky Investments. This follows a previous funding round where the company secured $2.03 million from Sailing Stones Technologies and other investors.
The latest investment will support Inkers in broadening its market presence and refining its product offerings, according to the company’s press release.
Founded by Rohan Shravan, Manish Giri, and Srikanth Kandada, Inkers Technology focuses on driving digital transformation in the construction sector. The company addresses critical challenges in the industry while fostering sustainable growth for infrastructure projects in India and beyond. Its solutions leverage advanced technologies such as computer vision, deep neural networks, hardware-level acceleration, and frequency domain encoders to optimize video data processing.
The company’s flagship product, Observance, is an AI-driven platform designed to analyze complex construction data, including point cloud data, images, BIM models, and project schedules, to generate actionable insights. Observance enables rapid and precise conversion into Building Information Modeling (BIM), helping construction teams identify issues early, improve workflow efficiency, and reduce costs and timelines.
Key features of Observance include the creation of hyper-accurate as-built 3D models enriched with thermal maps, which assist in resolving BIM conflicts, monitoring real-time construction progress, and detecting structural defects at an early stage. The platform scans up to 100,000 square feet of construction area per hour and provides analytics, as-built models, defect reports, and schedule updates within 24-48 hours.
Inkers Technology reports that Observance has been implemented across more than 150 construction sites in cities like Bengaluru, NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad. To date, it has scanned over 250 million square feet of construction space and processed upwards of 2 petabytes of data.
