Landeed, a platform specializing in property title search, has raised $5 million in a Series X funding round. The investment was led by 10x Founders Fund, with contributions from Oliver Jung, Paradigm Shift, Pioneer Fund, Jeffrey Epstein (Founder of Onboard), and Aaron King (Founder of Snapdocs).
The latest funding builds on the momentum of an oversubscribed seed round in 2023, during which most early institutional investors reinvested. According to the company, the new funds will be directed towards launching Landeed Labs, a dedicated unit to advance its AI and machine learning capabilities. Additionally, the company plans to recruit STEM and technical professionals to strengthen its core business operations.
Sanjay Mandava, Co-founder and CEO of Landeed, emphasized the importance of leveraging AI and machine learning in reshaping property ownership in India. “These technologies are foundational to our platform and products. Landeed Labs will allow us to further innovate in property transactions, making them more efficient and accessible,” he stated. “We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions without compromising on speed and execution.”
The Hyderabad-based startup was established in 2022 by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin, and Jonathan Richards. Landeed’s AI-driven platform simplifies property title searches by providing access to critical data, including sale deeds and encumbrance certificates, to help users verify properties and resolve disputes.
