PropEco, a Glasgow-based proptech company, has raised £275,000 in a seed funding round aimed at expanding its market presence.
The funding round was led by Symvan Capital, with additional support from The University of Strathclyde’s Inspire Entrepreneurs Fund. The fresh capital will be directed toward increasing the company’s business reach and scaling its operations.
Founded by Chris Hardman, who also serves as CEO, PropEco specializes in delivering data and analytical tools for property professionals, lenders, and insurers. The company’s technology helps users better assess the impact of environmental and social factors, such as climate change, on real estate and broader built environments.
PropEco’s solutions focus on three key areas: transition risks related to climate change, physical climate risks, and impacts on overall wellbeing. By addressing these factors, the platform offers a holistic view of the long-term sustainability and value of properties and locations.
