Qflow, a digital platform focused on sustainability in construction, has announced an integration with Procore Technologies Inc., a global provider of construction management software. This collaboration aims to simplify reporting processes by automating data capture for materials and deliveries. The integration is designed to improve the accuracy of as-built records, reduce material non-compliance risks, and support contractors in meeting stringent sustainability requirements with minimal administrative effort.
Traditionally, contractors and subcontractors manually log data on materials used during construction to ensure compliance and maintain the “golden thread” of information for final project records. This integration enables on-site teams to capture materials data efficiently using a photograph of delivery tickets or receipts. Automating this process saves time and minimizes errors associated with manual reporting methods.
Qflow’s technology extracts information from captured documents, standardizes and enriches the data with responsible sourcing details, and calculates the carbon footprint of materials. This processed data is then uploaded to Procore’s daily logs, providing centralized reporting and compliance support throughout project delivery and handover phases.
Brittany Harris, CEO and co-founder of Qflow, highlighted the importance of this development: “This integration with Procore marks a pivotal moment for the construction industry, enabling teams to harness high-quality data for delivering projects on time and within budget.”
According to industry data, 95.4% of materials delivered to construction sites are inadequately documented, limiting the potential value of such information. To meet ambitious carbon reduction targets and ensure the use of appropriate materials, improved on-site data collection is essential. The Qflow-Procore integration addresses this by streamlining data collection and reporting, helping contractors like Volpatt Construction assess supply chains and enhance project delivery efficiency.
Michael Volpatt, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at Volpatt Construction, noted: “While embodied carbon reporting is not yet mandatory, it is imminent. This integration helps us prepare by incorporating embodied carbon data into our Procore dashboards, simplifying reporting and improving access for all stakeholders.”
This collaboration combines Qflow’s automated data capture capabilities with Procore’s project management tools, enabling construction teams to save time on reporting and achieve high standards of quality and sustainability.
