ResVR, a proptech startup based in Calgary, Canada, has announced the closure of a CAD 1.7 million seed funding round. The company specializes in 3D visualization software designed to assist homebuilders and developers in showcasing and selling upgrades for floor plans.
The funding round was spearheaded by Inverted Ventures and Weave VC, with additional contributions from Bluesky Equity, InRoad Ventures, ThresholdImpact, Startup TNT, and several Canadian angel investors, including Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Improbable Games. Furthermore, Alberta Innovates and NRC-IRAP provided non-dilutive capital amounting to CAD 170,000 and CAD 100,000 respectively.
Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Nathan Nasseri, ResVR has made significant strides in developing its technology, which will soon include new products for home exteriors and community visualizations for land developers. The company operates with a globally distributed team across Canada, Europe, Asia, and Brazil, enabling rapid project development and client support.
Over the past year, ResVR has participated in several growth-oriented programs, including Alberta Catalyzer, 500 Global, Plug and Play, and Creative Destruction Lab. These initiatives have validated ResVR’s product roadmap and facilitated its operational expansion and customer base growth.
The newly secured funds will be utilized to enhance operational capabilities and further the development of ResVR’s innovative visualization solutions.
