Swiss Prime Site has successfully concluded the acquisition of Fundamenta Group, a prominent real estate asset manager. The agreement, finalized in March 2024, marks a significant milestone for both entities.
Anastasius Tschopp, CEO of Swiss Prime Site Solutions (SPSS), highlights the strategic implications of the merger: “The consolidation gives rise to Swiss Prime Site Solutions, solidifying its position as the largest independent real estate asset manager in Switzerland. With approximately CHF 13 billion in assets under management, the majority of which is allocated to residential real estate, SPSS is poised to deliver comprehensive real estate asset management services tailored to diverse investor profiles.”
The integration ensures continuity for all Fundamenta product offerings and services, maintaining existing contact points. This includes Fundamenta Real Estate AG, a publicly listed entity specializing in residential properties, alongside various products catering to institutional investors.
Swiss Prime Site’s expansion is facilitated by the issuance of 0.59 million new registered shares, equivalent to existing ones. Notable new shareholders include Luzerner Kantonalbank and the Garcia and Marxer families.

Collectively managing properties valued at approximately CHF 26 billion, Swiss Prime Site is well-positioned to meet diverse market needs.
