The inaugural FIABCI Emirates PropTech Trade Mission is scheduled on the 15th and 16th of October 2024 in Dubai, UAE during the GITEX GLOBAL 2024. This unique 2-day mission is designed for PropTech startups and SMEs to dive into the UAE’s real estate and PropTech ecosystem. Participants will interact with the leading figures of UAE’s real estate and PropTech industry, pitch their cutting-edge ideas and solutions, and gain valuable insights on ESG and Sustainability, Smart Cities and Smart Construction, IoT, and Property Management.
FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, is a business networking organization for all real estate professionals worldwide. In partnership with REES (Real Estate Evolution Space – an initiative launched by the Dubai Land Department), the FIABCI-Emirates Trade Mission aligns with the UAE’s new economic agenda called ‘D33’. ‘D33’ aims to drive sustainable growth through innovative approaches making Dubai the hub of a global urban transformation.

The FIABCI-Emirates Trade Mission aims to bring together PropTech start-ups, industry leaders, and business experts to showcase their latest innovations, engage in strategic discussions capable of redefining the future of real estate, and explore growth opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
At the Mission, participants will learn about business and licensing models developed by the government to foster growth and innovation for PropTech startups and SMEs in the UAE. Participants will also learn about the UAE’s “Net Zero by 2050” initiative and understand how PropTech companies can drive sustainability through innovation. The event will feature advanced construction technologies (ConTech), including 3D printing and innovative building methods in Dubai. Participants will delve into the latest developments in PropTech and Facilities & Property Management including smart buildings, AI-driven property management, IoT, and automation. Most importantly, global PropTech start-up entrepreneurs and innovators will get the opportunity to observe the emerging trends, investment opportunities, and market drivers in Dubai closely.
On the first day (15 Oct, Tuesday), participants will explore how sustainability, smart technologies, and IoT are transforming property management and real estate in the UAE with keynote speakers from Dubai Land Department, RERA, and PropTech experts. The day will also feature a panel discussion on ‘Integrating ESG, Smart Cities, and IoT into Dubai’s Real Estate Vision’. Participants will also witness the Startup Pitch Session attended by senior executives from major developers and investors from the UAE real estate industry. The day’s highlights are the GITEX GLOBAL 2024 tour and the DLD Stand visit presented by the Real Estate Evolution Space Initiative (REES), which will conclude with a networking and cultural evening.
On the second day (16 Oct, Wednesday), participants will visit a Master Developer’s Headquarters to learn about their projects, vision, and innovation strategies. The participants will also visit a leading Asset Management firm and be introduced to the investment landscape in UAE’s real estate sector. The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) will also receive the participants and introduce them to property management innovations.
