David Reid, Managing Director of Legal & General’s Suburban Build-to-Rent business, is widely recognized as a prominent figure in the burgeoning market for suburban build-to-rent houses. He is dedicated to supporting the sector in delivering high-quality new houses tailored to the needs of institutional investors and operators, while providing secure, professionally managed housing for families.
The UKAA’s initiative aims to foster collaboration between investors, operators, and house builders in the single-family housing sector to establish long-term partnerships for new home delivery. Moreover, the committee is actively engaging with policymakers and local authorities to enhance understanding of the quality and value of suburban BTR delivery.
Representatives from the British Property Federation (BPF) and the Home Builders Federation (HBF) are part of the UKAA committee, driving cross-sector collaboration and providing a unified voice to government and policymakers.
