ULI Europe has introduced three new Product Councils focused on Operational Real Estate, Placemaking, and global real estate markets through the European Global Exchange Council (GEC). These additions reflect the evolving priorities of the built environment sector and increasing member engagement.
Product Councils are a key benefit for ULI members, fostering industry collaboration and knowledge exchange. With the latest additions, ULI Europe now operates 14 councils, offering professionals a platform to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and shape the future of European real estate.
The councils bring together a diverse, international membership, facilitating peer learning across markets and disciplines. They aim to enhance industry dialogue, promote thought leadership, and build professional networks in a confidential and structured environment.
ULI Europe has also named eight real estate leaders as co-chairs across several councils, including the newly established ones. These appointments highlight ULI’s commitment to leveraging industry expertise to drive impactful discussions.
New European Product Council Co-Chairs:
Each co-chair will serve a two-year voluntary term.
Anne Kavanagh, Chair of ULI Europe, welcomed the new co-chairs, emphasizing their role in advancing ULI’s mission. “The expertise and leadership of our Product Council co-chairs are instrumental in fostering industry collaboration. Their contributions will drive meaningful discussions that benefit the broader real estate community.”
Lisette van Doorn, CEO of ULI Europe, highlighted the significance of these councils. “Product Councils provide a confidential platform for senior industry professionals to exchange knowledge. The introduction of new councils reflects the sector’s continuous evolution, with greater focus on operational real estate, placemaking, and global exchange.”

The next in-person meetings for the councils will take place at the ULI Europe Conference in London from June 16-19, 2025. Council-specific meetings will be held on June 17, preceded by dedicated council dinners on June 16.
