Wattnow, a cleantech company based in Tunisia, has secured multi-million dollar funding to support its global expansion strategy and enhance its technological capabilities.
The funding round was led by Lateral Frontiers and 216 Capital, with additional contributions from Outlierz Ventures, Satgana, Octerra Capital, and several strategic angel investors, including Karim Beguir, founder of InstaDeep, and Guillaume Amblard.
Founded in 2018 by Issam Smaali, Wattnow offers a solution that combines hardware and software to help companies monitor and manage their energy consumption. The company’s platform is already in use by various private and public sector clients across industries such as municipalities, automotive and aeronautics, telecommunications, banking and insurance, transformative industries, oil and gas, construction, and retail.
Previously, in 2022, Wattnow raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Katapult Climate and 216 Capital, with participation from other investors.
